Donald D. DeGrasse
Donald D. DeGrasse is the President and owner of the The DeGrasse Law Firm, P.C. , which is a Texas Professional Corporation primarily engaged in debt recovery in Texas, Louisiana and New Mexico. Don attended Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana where he graduated with high distinction in Accounting for his undergraduate studies in 1976 and law school in 1979. Don was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1981 and became a Certified Public Accountant in Texas in 1983. He oversees all phases of the operations of The DeGrasse Law Firm, P.C.
Beatrice attended undergraduate school at the University of St. Thomas in Houston and received her Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Houston, Law Center, in 1996. After admittance to the Texas Bar, Beatrice worked as a Judicial Clerk for the Harris County 125th Civil District Court and several national law firms representing the interests of banks and corporations, before joining The DeGrasse Law Firm, PC, in 2019. Beatrice handles primarily contested litigation.
Will Rutledge attended undergraduate school at the University of Houston and LeTourneau University where he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management in 2003. He then obtained a Master of Divinity degree with honors from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2007 followed by a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law in 2015. Will was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2016. Since then, Will has worked as an associate attorney representing oilfield services providers in litigation and other entities in commercial real estate transactions. Will joined the DeGrasse Law Firm P.C. in 2021 as an Associate Attorney in contested litigation.
Eric M. Spence
Eric Spence attended New Mexico Military Institute and St. Edward’s University in Austin where he graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminal Justice in 2002. He obtained an M.B.A. from Texas State University-San Marcos in Finance and Economics in 2004 followed by a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from South Texas College of Law in 2009. Eric was admitted to the Texas Bar in 2009 and since then has worked as an associate for a major bank and as an attorney ad litem before joining the DeGrasse Law Firm P.C. in 2018 as the Associate Attorney In Charge of Pre-Judgment operations.
Leo Vidal Glasper
Leo attended Sam Houston State University graduating in 2016 with a bachelors degree in Business Administration. She then attended the Thurgood Marshall School of Law in Houston, graduating in 2019. Leo worked for now Judge Jim Kovach and several attorneys while in school. Leo joined the DeGrasse Law Firm in September of 2019 as a Paralegal and advanced to one of the firm’s Associate Attorneys once licensed to practice law in January 2020. Leo manages the firm’s post Judgment department.
Gilbert G. Gonzalez, Jr.
Gil attended undergraduate school at Louisiana State University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Management. He then received a Doctor of Jurisprudence Degree from Southern University Law School in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 2017. After graduating law school, Gil worked as a Judicial Clerk for the 17th Judicial District Court in Thibodeaux, Louisiana before joining The DeGrasse Law Firm, PC. in 2017 as the Attorney in Charge of Louisiana Operations.
Larysa attended University of Calgary graduating in 2007 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and IE University in Madrid graduating in 2015 with a Master of Business Administration. Larysa is a foreign-trained lawyer from Ukraine. She obtained a Master of Laws in Energy, Environment and Natural Resources from University of Houston Law Center in 2018. Larysa worked in the energy industry, primarily in Acquisitions and Divestitures. She became an Associate Attorney once licensed to practice law in May 2021.
Christopher N. Orton
Christopher attended undergraduate school at Northern Illinois University where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science in 1992. He then received a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Ohio Northern University in 1994. After graduating law school, he became an Assistant District Attorney for the 11th District of New Mexico and then later went into private practice. Christopher has been a guest speaker at numerous legal conferences in North America, Europe and Asia. In addition, he has litigated cases in both Ohio and New Mexico state courts as well as the Federal District of New Mexico and the 10th District Court of Appeals in Denver, Colorado. Christopher is the Associate Attorney in charge of our New Mexico operations with offices in Albuquerque.
